As she chased after the person who could change the identity of the stranger, she was left wondering about her own makeup, and wondered what life might be like if she had more human qualities. For a movie set in a futuristic city, the drawn animation does it justice. It was filled with action scenes and the writing was wonderful!

5. Howl’s Moving Castle

Howl’s Moving Castle was released in 2004. Sophie is a girl who works an ordinary life. She met Howl, a blonde mysterious boy. Their meeting leads to her being cursed to look like a jealous witch.

Sophie travels to find a way to break her curse. After being guided by a living scarecrow, he finds himself working as a housemate for Howl in his moving castle.
